Question
hye i have a kenwood kac-9104d class d mono amp hooked up to 2 memphis audio 12s and it wangs! but i have a problem> after i start to turn the volume past 35 the amp light starts to dim alott and before u know it by the time i get to 40 or high my amp starts shutting off everytime the bass gets harder idk wat it is D I NEED HELP. THANK YOU

Answer
The memphis audio 12s are dual voice coil and low impedance as well.

You did not say how you have the voice coils connected. It may be you have them wired such that the load impedance is too low for the amp.  Wiring the voice coils of each speaker in parallel, then with the two speakers in series will give a higher impedance which may be a better load for the amp.  Try that and see if that solves the problem.

If not, send a followup indicating how you have the speakers wired.
