Hi i have a but sony cd changer cdx 616 and a sony xr-ca 620 radio i removed the cd changer and cut of the wires but now i put it all together and it does not show that the cd changer is connected .I have bought new cables but it still does not work but the power is going to the changer.I Hope you will some answers for me thank you

Not sure where to get you going on this.

If you have the correct cables going between the two units and both of them are powered correctly it should work.

You can check the wiring and cable pinouts by verifying the color coding from the manuals. Owners manual comes with the units, service manuals can be downloaded from several places on the Internet (do a google or bing search).

One of the most common causes of no turn on is no voltage or no connection from the remote turn-on wire. This is a 12v feed that comes from the ignition area and turns the radio and changer ON when switched on at the radio.  So, there should be two 12v lines to the changer and one ground.  One 12v line is constant and the other 12v line comes on only when the radio is turned on.  Check that out.
