Audio Systems: Antenna, shark fin antenna, metal chassis

Question
I heard that they make an antenna that you can run along the chassis so you don't have to have the antenna sticking up. I have an old classic truck and I don't want an antenna to show. Any help in finding this would be great.

And, you can try just running your own wire under the running board and see how that works.  You would want to keep it away from the engine ignition area and space it a little away from the metal chassis surfaces, but you might get away with that.

Also, as you know many autos have the antenna mounted in the window glass.  You can sometimes find such antennas that can be pasted on the rear window; it looks like the defroster coils that are on so many automobiles.
