Audio Systems: best amp for pioneer sub woofer, pioneer speaker, power subwoofer

Question
I am going to buy a pioneer tsw1208d4,12",1500watts peak power,450watts rated power subwoofer,
I am very much confused on buying an amp for this woofer.
I've read the article on this topic on this website, which was answerd by u, but didn't found it much usefull.

Kindly help me in giving a specific model no. of a 4channel amp from jbl, pioneer, alpine n kenwood which is suited for this subwoofer the best.
And yes the retailers here know nothing much about amps so that is why i am asking you to specify a model no. of the amp. please help.
Please specify me the modelno. of the amp in ur answer so that i can get out with this confusion. Please please please do help me out from this trouble.
Thanks
Karan

Answer
Sorry, I don't make equipment recommendations. There are too many subjective factor involved and there are opinions and science that are beyond just picking a product.

You must do some of your own homework and decide with knowledge, not just take some one other opinion.

The important thing for you to make certain of is the output impedance rating of the amplifier is sufficient to match the Pioneer speaker.

The speaker you have selected is a dual 4 ohm voice coil and you must choose an amp that can feed 2 ohms with stability if you are going to drive it in dual mode - which will give you the best power transfer from amp to speaker.

And, depending on how much power you are going to be driving into the speaker you may want to consider a Class D switching amp which uses less current from the battery.

Depending upon your automobile and its alternating system, you may need to upgrade to a high output alternator system in the vehicle..

So, you have some things to decide before you can choose an amplifier.

Good luck and best  wishes.
