Audio Systems: 99 toyota 4runner stereo chage, toyota 4runner, rockford fosgate

Question
Im trying to replace the stock stereo 99 toyota 4runner to a rockford fosgate. I got the stereo powered up but i cant hear anything to the speakers. I conected a speaker to the stereo and i can here it so the stereo is working fine. Is I used the same wiring that what there before but i ithink thwere is a amp behind the h/u that all the wires come out of and possibly not turning on....but then how would i get power. THANKS

you need to use the factory harness it is a 10 pin plug and a 6 pin plug

if you find a 15 pin plug don't use it and look for the correct wiring
if you find a 20 pin plug follow it to the amplifier behind ac and pull it out ,the correct wiring will be in the other side
