Audio Systems: sound cutting out., shoddy service, balun

Wayne, I am sorry I can't answer your questions more specically as we know nothing about installation of this kind.  We had professionals come in and install for us but since we are having this problem, they ignore our phone calls.  I was hoping maybe you could give me some suggestions as what MIGHT be the problem.  I am trying to avoid paying another $900. to have someone come in and fix something simple.  Thanks for your time.

I did notice that you've got some kind of balun you're using. Which devices is this between? Also, how long is your HDMI run?

Most professional installers no little about cable, and they will overcharge you for shoddy service. I'd suggest a call to the BBB about the LACK of service your installer is providing.

Can you at least give me make & model #'s of the gear you are hooking together. Please understand that I can't help you at all with only general information. The problem you are having can be one of many things...too many to describe with generalities.
