Audio Systems: Speaker/amp wiring, ohm subs, kicker l7

QUESTION: I have 2 15" kicker L7 subs. They are DVC 4 ohm subs. I have a performance teknique ICBM-772 rated at 800w max and 2 ohm stable how would i go about wiring both speakers to this amp to get the most thump out of them?

ANSWER: The ICBM-772 is a two channel amp and not bridgeable as far as I can tell.  There for you are best off to connect one sub to each channel.

Put the voice coils in parallel and away you go.  Here is the Crutchfield wiring pictorial to help you with the wiring of it:

Answer
It needs to be 1 ohm stable in bridge mode in order to put all voice coils in parallel. The specification says 2 ohm stable in stereo, but it does not give the bridge spec.  So, I think you will be best off by staying 2 channel and wiring as stated before; each voice coil in parallel and one speaker per channel on the amp.  All the best.
