Audio Systems: Radio Removal 1995 Dodge Ram, intermittent connections, intermittent connection

Question
I'm pretty sure I have a grounding problem with my radio for it works most of the time but sometimes there's a high raster low volumen sound.  Sometimes I can play with the antenna move the radio up and down with a jarring action and begins to play normal.

Answer
Yes, you may have a grounding problem - or any of many such intermittent connection problems. It is just as likely a bad power connection to the radio - or remote turn on wire.

It takes some ingenious inspection to find out where the intermittent connections may be.  You might want to try to determine, first if it is an external connection (outside the radio unit) or something internal to the radio itself.

The above might give you some ideas.
