Audio Systems: using laptop as DJ equipment, cdmixer, computer dj

Hello there I have a CDmixer, but I want to use the laptop as the replacement! I have the amplifier and Equalizer I'd just like to know what to kind of chord(s) I need to connect the laptop to the rest of th equipment! Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you!

There are software packages on the market like PCDJ. They will suggest the type of peripheral equipment that is needed. It really depends on the software that your using. The end result is that your computer will act as the music server and either give you the option do virtually mixing from your computer or send the tracks via multiple sound cards to the inputs of a mixer that may or may not have midi control depending on the level of hardware and software. Your really need to see what is available to you. On the pro end you would look at the Rane hardware. Surf the web for computer DJ'ing.
