Audio Systems: Pioneer into 98 Civic, pioneer deh 1800, oem radio

Question
Audio Systems: Pioneer into 98 Civic, pioneer deh 1800, oem radio
Three pictures of what
My friend gave me his old Pioneer DEH-1800 head unit which he had in his 96-98 (not exactly sure on the year) Civic.  When I went into my 98 Civic EX to pull out the OEM radio and CD player, the head unit didn't have the same size pin connector.  The OEM radio had two connectors, one larger than the other, and the Pioneer only has one, smaller than both of the stock ones.  What do I need to buy in order to get this head unit to work?

Also there was a connector that does fit into the back of the Pioneer unit, that came with the head unit.  Three wires are labeled Battery Positive, ACC, and System Remote control.  Just not sure on the other...8 wires.

Answer
ask your friend for the honda wiring  he don't need  that unless he install anew radio in his car

if he don't have it you need to buy the honda harness itis about $15

your original factory radio needs to stay in the vehicle plug the green plug back that is the factory alarm/keyless netry/and domelight inside the vehicle
