Audio Systems: 04(new style) F-150 factory 6 disc changer/radio, disc changer, control buttons

Question
QUESTION: Have you ever heard of the radio/ cd changer locking up in these vehicles? The radio displays "PHONE" and refuses to turn off after the vehicle is off or respond to pressing any of the control buttons or play any sound. Manual gives no explanation of "PHONE" either. Any ideas would help. Thanks, Jeremy

QUESTION: sirius satellite was installed over a year ago and actually has not been used in the last 3-4 months (unplugged sirius reciever). the sirius is wired to radio (following their instructions) not by emitting signal for radio to be tuned to. i thought of this but could not explain why this happened after a year without problems. maybe you've heard of this being a problem? thanks again. jeremy

no i never seen the sat radio causing this before  the sirius is plug in to the same phone plug  
remove the battery for about 30 minutes to reset the radio
if the problem is still there most likely the ttl in the radio is going bad and can not respond to the commands
it will be a good idea to replace the radio, don't try to repair it will fail again and it is going to cost a lot to fix
