Audio Systems: Metra 2-Channel Line Output Converter, chevy silverado, line output converter

Question
I have a 2005 chevy silverado and want to keep the factory head unit in due to the price in wiring harnesses.  Do you know if its possible to install a Metra 2-Channel Line Output Converter into the truck so i do not have to replace the have the head deck. If so what wires would need to be taped into to run it.

NO don't cut any wires and any hi/low don't work

here they are   one is to replace the radio
the other is to add the amplifier  it will bypass the factory audio and also give you a remote turn on
