Audio Systems: 2000 buick le sabre, buick le sabre, override code

Question
My 2000 Le Sabre came with an am/fm, I purchased a am/fm/cd/cassete from a 2000 Le Sabre.  The radio will not give up the code to get it out of LOC. I took the car to our local dealer (along with the vin for the new radio) and 4 hours later they said the unit was jammed (they had let it sit for 1 hour to reset itself) I brought it home and found that if I removed the radio for a time then reinstalled it I could get it to play in the accesory position, but when the key was turned to the run position it locked up again. I gave up and tried to install an after market radio with the proper after market connector. The radio would only play in the accessory position, yet when I plugged the OEM am/fm back in, it worked perfectly.  I checked the 32 pin plug from the vehicle, and found 2 pins that had 12v, regardless of the key position. 1 pin that varied the voltage when the instrument dimmer was turned down, (this pin also acted like a ground, when I connected it through a test light to either one of the constant 12v pins). I'm at a loss. I've wired the after mkt. radio so that it will play in either run or acc. but I have to turn it off and on manually. I'd like to install a factory am/fm/cd/cassette, HELP.

Answer
Try this,
Press & hold the 2 & 3 buttons @ the same time for about 10 seconds; a 2 or 3 digit code will appear, write this # down, press & hold the am/fm button for about 10 seconds: another code will appear, write this # down, then call 407-9331065 and see if they can give you the correct radio code   a 3 or 4 digit override code. Write this code # down so you have it if you ever need it again. Enter this # into your radio following the instructions in your owners manual. If you get an override code that starts with 0, you drop the 0 when entering the code into your radio
