Audio Systems: maxed out audio, pioneer vsx, dear fred

I accidentally selected a live input on my Pioneer VSX-21 receiver when the volume was very high. By the time I turned the receiver off and back on again I had lost all audio output on all my inputs. Did I blow out something? Is there any reset button on this box?

Dear Fred,

If you're lucky, you've only blown a fuse. No, really. Check all the user-servicable fuses. Replace the busted ones and fire it up. I'm 90% sure that'll solve the problem. If it doesn't, check your speakers. They should be okay, but check 'em anyhow. If the speakers check out, you may have fried something serious. At this point, you take it in to a qualified repair service, and have them run a diagnostic.

My money's on the fuses.
