Audio Systems: installing motorola ihf1000 bluetooth, ford f 150, motorola ihf1000

Question
Ernesto I have a Ford F-150 pickup (1998) and bought a  motorola ihf1000 bluetooth. Per the instructions I need to connect a green wire from the unit to "an ignition-switched location on the fuse block" and connect the red wire to "a point in the vehicle's fuse box that is fused at 5 amp". The black wire just connects to the chassis. The pickup has a fuse box in the cab on the left side of the steering wheel.  I think I can find an ignition switched location(s).  My first question--Do I wire the green wire to the back of this fused location (assuming I can wire to the back) or would there be an empty spot that I need to wire to and then fuse (or put in a 5 amp line fuse).  My second question is can I just put a line fuse at 5 amp in the red wire and wire it to any line that is hot from the battery.  Thanks for the help and any tips you might also have.

Answer
you can get power from anywhere in the vehicle i recommend going behind the radio and do all the connections there
also you need to add a small fuse just in case

there are also  pre-made plugs for your vehicle, that will mute the ford radio and you will here the caller in the front speakers
no need to cut any cable this is  made for motorola to ford
plug and play
