Nissan Repair: Knock Sensor, vacuum hoses, haynes manual

Question
Hello Mr. Sudderth,

Thanks for the advise on my previous question regarding the front motor mount. Maxi runs like new!!
I now have to replace the knock sensor. I understand that I need to remove the intake manifold in order to replace it. By removing the intake, do I need to replace the gaskets as well?
Stay tune for more questions...

Thank you,

Answer
Hector,

Yes, buy an intake manifold set.  A Haynes Manual is great for pictures and diagrams.  Also, if you have a camera it is good to take pictures and to use touch-up paint to mark vacuum hoses so you will know where they go when you put the intake manifold back on.  Use baggies to store bolts together and mark the bag with a Sharpie to aid in assembly.
