i have a pioneer deh 1600 cd player a 12 inch subwolfer an amp and that works fine but my front speakers are not working. i hear nothing but bass i don't hear singing can you please help me? thanks

You have lost the main stereo channels.
This Pioneer unit is a 4 channel audio system and may be driving all full band speakers directly or through an external amplifier.

If the speaker systems are connected directly to the in-dash Pioneer then it has lost its power amplifier outputs.  Please check the fuses to the unit; if there are two fuses it could be one of them has gone out.

If there is an external amplifier being used, check the fuses on it and make sure the 12v is getting to the amp.  If you don't know how to do this checking, you will be better off running into a repair/install facility and have them look at it.  They can tell you in a short minute or two.
