The whole Amp thing is really confusing to me and would love some help  or ADVICE. I really want it to beat down. i would like to spend $250 max and under

ANSWER: A mono amp would be best.

If you can provide the specs of the sub such as the RMS watts, ohms and number of coils per sub, I can help you further.

Answer
2400W POWER HANDLING (1000 watts RMS)
DUAL 2? VOICE COIL

I assume 1000 watts RMS dual 2 ohm. If these arn't right, it will affect what amp to get, however......

You'll need a 2000 watt RMS @ 2 ohm mono amp with the subs wired like so - http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j230/sparky3489/PARALLEL-SERIES.jpg

Because the total system power is more than 1000 watts RMS, you will need to:

1. Upgrade the alternator to a high output alternator
2. Upgrade to a heavy duty deep cycle battery
3. Upgrade the "Big 3" - that is to replace (or add to) the power wire between the battery and alternator, the ground from the battery to the chassis and the ground strap from the engine/tranny to the chassis with at least 2 AWG wire.

Failure to do this will result in the early death of the alternator  as it will eventually fail.

Here is a guide that will calculate what size alternator and power wires you need  http://www.datafilehost.com/download.php?file=6d26c621

You will need Microsoft Excel. If you don't have Excel, use this link http://www.box.net/shared/nkkw1dhk4g
