Audio Systems: Cassette decks with RCA input?, rca input, cassette decks

Question
Does anybody make a standard audiocassette recorder with a phono/RCA input jack anymore at a reasonable price (ie, less than $300)?  I need to be able to record sound from VCR and or TV to standard audiocassettes for my work, and my last old boombox just quit.

Answer
Your best bet is to locate an older cassette deck designed for a standard stereo system.  These are rare as new u nits, but there are a lot of them available on the secondary market.  Unfortunately the market for new recorders centers on CDs and DVDs these days.
