Audio Systems: car DVD not connected to cars speaker, auxiliary input adapter, mercury mountaineer

i have Mercury mountaineer 2004 with overhead DVD (AUDIOVOX), but i discovered after purchase that the speakers are nor connected to DVD, the only way to hear the movies is thru wireless head phone,any way to adjust the conection to car's speakers?

yes you need the audio adapter for the ford radio use this if there is no cd changer
