Audio Systems: Driver Info center, pontiac g6, lan systems

I have a 06 Pontiac G6.  I would like to put a double din DVD/Nav system in but am wondering if there is a way for the DIC info to load on the new system. I know there are Lan systems for single dins but the reviews are not so hot. Just seeing if there is a way for the new system to read the cars computer or not. thanks.

Also, you may find www.crutchfield.com experts very helpful; they really know cars and what fits, what works, how to install, wiring modules, etc.  Try them, too.
