Audio Systems: 2000 watt Pioneer Premiers, dual voice coil, jumper wire

Question
i just bought 2 12" dual voice coil 2000 watt pioneer premier's,  i want to hook them up to a 1500watt mono amp,
the amp is 2ohm stable, they r 500 watt x 1 RMS,
the subs handle 750 RMS,

ive hooked up just one of the subs and sounds great!
looking foward to the other sub.....

? is can i just run a + to a + and a - to a - in the rear and just connect 1 + and 1 - ?????

Answer
I have to know the impedance rating of the voice coils.

IF:  They are 4 ohms each, you should hook them in parallel, then in series with the other speaker.  That will give you an overall load to the amplifier of 4 ohms.

On each speaker connect the plus to plus and the minus to minus.  From the amp, plus to plus on one speaker and minus to minus on the other speaker.  Then a jumper wire from the minus on the first  speaker to the plus on the second speaker.

If the coils are NOT 4 ohms let me know.
