Audio Systems: kenwood stereo, couple of minutes, many thanks

hi i have a kenwood stereo and the stereo intergrated amplifier witch is labelled a58 keeps cutting out it turns on and will either cut out straight away or withen a couple of minutes all the rest of the system stays on  hope you can help

There is a problem within the amp that is being detected.  The amp is shutting down to prevent further damage. I would suspect a bad regulator or bad connections close to the regulator.  This shouldbe a straightforward repair and cost no more than $100.  I would recommend the repair.
