Audio Systems: Sansui R-50, output transistors, sansui

Question
I own an old Sansui R-50 Stereo Receiver and only get sound from the right channel. I have tried switching between the A and/or B etc...but still same problem. Speakers work fine on another stereo. What could be the problem?

Answer
One channel output transistors are likely failed or there is a protection fuse inside the unit that has blown.  Realize that if there is a fuse, it may have blown because of shorted outputs.  Replace the fuse with one of the same value.  If it blows immediately, than the outputs are defective and need to be replaced.
