where to hook up the remote wire for my amp on the factory radio in a 2006 malibu

Answer
It should go to the head unit and where it will get the 12v when the in-dash unit is switched on.  Alternatively, you could connect it to an ignition wire which will turn it on whenever the key is turned on.

It is green color, I think, if I remember correct, but don't hold me to it.
