Car was overheating which caused the radio/cd to go out.  Latest work performed by dealer was following GM Bulletin to install Ten, in-line fuses to isolate the cause of the electrical short.  Said it was the wire to the seat heater under the driver's side.  Now, the CD player isn't working - won't initialize - in their attempt to "fix" the problem, they created a new problem.  I paid $1,500 for the work and trusted them that the problem was corrected.  When I drove the car home that evening, the CD Player wasn't working.  HELP!

This sounds to me like the repair actually broke something else.  This could be a spike that smoked something inside the CD or the wiring may have been altered.  I would return to the service are and have them fix it.  I don't think I can help much remotely.
