Audio Systems: Right channel speaker fade, amplifier section, channel speaker

I have a 1972 Magnavox Astro Sonic Stereo, a-trak and record player. Resently the three speakers that make up the right channel have started to fade out to a point that all you can hear is a staticy low version of what ever is being played. Every now and then it will just start working perfect again. I am completely lost looking at the wiring in this thing. I can follow the wires but I'm not sure what to look for here. Can you offer any advise. Thanks in advance.

I would first check the connections at the amplifier section.  I don't believe that the stereo has relays, so check all of the solder connections.  The fading is due to bad connecgtions where the resistance get high enough to cuase the symptom you hear.  If there are output relays, clean the contacts.
