QuestionI have a 2003 Chevy Impala and the front left speaker didn't work when I bought it. When I would start the car, I would get sound but only for a second. I started my car today and got no sound out of any speakers. No pop or anything. This is the original system that came with the car. What could it be?

You really need to take it in for a check out. A tech will take measurements and go through a check of each component, speaker wiring, speakers, etc. You could have rusty wiring, bad amp, burned out speakers, bad ignition switch, etc.
In fact, the car is now 4 years old and you may want to think about putting in a whole new aftermarket unit that is uptodate with current technology.
