Audio Systems: tempo wiring, sony unit, dash lights

i have a 89 tempo i removed the crapy not stock deck and installed new sony unit now i have no brake lights or dash lights i figured it was alumination wires but tere is no orange wire but 2 LB/R wires when i conect them to power my dash lights work but no brake lts and marker lights stay on no mater what so i disconected them and im back to no dash or brake lights please help

You sure have a wiring deficiency.  It must be corrected.

Did you use the proper wiring harness or adapter to make sure the wiring connects to the right places?

it will give you the wiring and color codes for your car.

If you go to:

www.installer.com

you can find a wiring harness and other adapters that will make it easy (if you need them) to install the radio correctly.

I am certain you have the power wiring incorrect.  And, probably the speaker wiring because what comes with the radio you are installing would very likely have totally different color wiring than the Tempo you are wiring to.
