do i need to remove the door panel to install new door speakers and do you know the depth?

Best advice is go to www.crutchfield.com and go throught their listing of products that fit your car. They are experts on all these matters and have data on just about every car in the world and what fits and what doesn't.

There are other such online companies but crutchfield is the best. You don't have to purchase anything from them but if you do the will send you wiring harnesses and installation instructions with the product.

www.installer.com is a good source also.

But, you will have to remove the door panel and lift the speaker out of the water bucket.  When installing the new speaker make sure you get the water seals back in place or it will quickly fail do to moisture or rain getting in.
