Audio Systems: VW Monsoon Radio froze, cmos, monsoon

Question
One day while I was driving, the radio stopped emitting sound out of the speakers.  I tried to press all of the buttons on the radio but it wouldn't do anything.  I have a display but it won't do anything except when I tried to use the volume to go up and down even though there is no sound.  What can I do to fix this problem?

the radio ttl cmos is damage or got stuck
you can remove the battery for about 10 minutes and try again but most likely the radio is just damage
also this radio can not be repair it will be to expensive and difult to find a shop
