Audio Systems: bose vs non-bose OEM radios, oem radios, ohms

Question
I needed t replace my radio afer a car detailer messed u the buttons.  I had the CD/TAPE ad wanted to replace it with an OEM CD6.  The plugs match and the unit is identical in shape.  They offered it as an option on the vehicle, but it did not come stock.  I was told by many the only reason it will not work is if I have a BOSE compatible radio and do not have the matching amp.

A guy in Chicago told me that the radio can be reprogrammed to match the radio and it is a 5 minute fix.  My problem is NO DEALER knows about this nor do they know anyone who does.  Who can I call for help?

Answer
WOW the guy in Chicago is a clown run away from him
THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE

the reason why that don't  work is because you are missing 4 amplifiers and 6 speakers  the speakers are 1.5 to 2.0 ohms
and the amplifiers need to be bose  not impossible to do but a lot of work  you can fine a Nissan cd player that is not bose
good luck
