Audio Systems: Loose Part Inside RB1 Chrysler (Alpine) Stereo/Nav System, alpine stereo, rb1

Question
Ernesto,
I bought an Alpine made Chrysler RB1 Nav and Stereo for my Jeep. It came to me as needing repair because CD's or DVD's (for the Nav) get scratched when put in the slot. Everything is supposed to work however, and I guess the Nav DVD will work until the scratches make it unusable. The seller said they think a child pay have put a coin in it.

There is something loose rattling around inside, but sounds more like a small screw. I thought I would take the top off, pull the faceplate and see if I could look inside. I can see the DVD drive put can't figure out how to carefully pull that next part (the DVD drive)to find the loose part. I don't want to fire it up because the loose part might short out something important.
Where can I find a manual, or do you know how to take it to the next step. The dealer will charge me way too much and I can't help but think (maybe wrong) that if I carefully disassemble the assemblies I can get the loose part out and see if it'll work. Maybe replace the DVD assembly? Not sure what my next steps could be.
Thanks for the help.
