Audio Systems: no sound on cd/dvd mode, internal amps, wireless headphones

Hello. I have a Phase Linear by Jenson UV7I. I have no sound comming through my speakers on cd/dvd mode, just static through my subs. The radio tuner works fine through my mids and subs. Any thoughts?

Check the connections.

Are you using the internal amps only? Or do you have external amps going as well?

Have you hooked up the subwoofer output to the sub amp properly?

Have you gone through the setup procedure to make sure the audio functions are set properly when in CD/DVD play mode?

Do you have the manual?  Have you checked it thoroughly for all set  up functions?

Sorry for the basics, but you must make sure you have it installed and setup properly.  If you are sure it is the unit may be defective if it does not switch the audio over (I think this model can switch to rear only or to wireless headphones so the driver side does not get audio interference, for example).  But, after all said and done if the unit is defective you should get it back to the manufacturers warranty people.
