I have a Grand Caravan with CD & Cassette player and 10 speakers. The speaker on the door have the Infinity Logo. The cd player is broken. I am trying to by another on eBay. My problem is: Many CD player only has the Infinity Logo at the face. All CD & Cassete player does not show the logo. There are some sellers saying "it is a Infinity CD & cassete player", but their units do not show the Logo. So...please, what does determine if the unit is Infinity or not? is it possible the combo cd & cassete is Infinity even without the Logo. My Grand Caravan is 1996.
I've contacte a seller which is selling a combo as a infinity, but it does not have the logo. I made this question; "How can you determine it is a Infinity sound if the unity does not have the Infinity Logo at the front face?
Which other feature makes you be sure it is Infinity?"
AND the seller responded;
"Chrysler stopped putting the word Infinity on the face plate in 1995. My radios are newer than that. An Infinity radio is a radio that is compatible with an Infinity amp. All Chrysler combos are Infinity. There is no such thing as a non Infinity combo."
So...I am looking for someone able to tell me if it is TRUE or NOT TRUE for sure.
Can you help me on that? it is ok if it is not.

Answernot all dodge/jeep Chrysler are infinity not true
yes Chrysler didn't put the logo on the radio but it is on the doors of the vehicle because there are a few infinity system not just one
infinity 8 not use anymore infinity 7 and infinity 10 there is also infinity 12 and 13 for 2000 and up
the way to tell is by looking at the back of the radio
if you see a big heatsink aluminum that radio have power and don't work with the infinity
very small heatsink the power comes from the infinity amplifiers in the vehicle
