Audio Systems: theatre hookup, high quality control, dolby prologic

Question
hello.I own a nice Harman kardon reciever AVR235.It is really great but doesn't have enough power for me,only 50 wpc.it has all the surround decoding i would need but insufficient power.I bought an Acurus A200x5.At 200 wpc this is the power i need.I also bought a B&K AVP4000 preamp for high quality control. It decodes THX and Dolby Prologic(but not Dolby Digital or DTS).Is there any way to use the power of the Acurus to power everything, the B&K to control everything, and the added surround decoding of the HK.If not is there any external decoders for DD and DTS i could use?The B&K is new and really great and i would hate to have to ditch it in order to get DD and DTS decoding capabilities.Any help would be greatly appreciated

Answer
Pre amp, Receiver? Too many unecessary gain stages. A lot of Ad Hoc mix and match to make a receiver work that will be really outdated pretty soon. If you can sell the stuff on ebay and get all you want in a new receiver you would be better off, also because you at least would have a warrantee. I generally recommend the latest in technology, unless you have performance equipment.
