Car Alarms: Micro Keyless Entry, car alarm systems, programming issues

Question
My remotes no longer work.  I had car battery issues and that is when the issues began.  I have changed the battery in both remotes with no luck.  I believe I need to reprogram the remotes.  How do I do that?
