Audio Systems: Sony Gt200 mp3 stereo in car, sony gt200, bass tubes

Question
Hi, i have recently bought a Sony gt200 mp3 stereo and a separate amplified bass tube which i have installed with the head unit. Now there is no power coming to the bass-tube because there is a blue cable which is supposed to be connected to the head unit somewhere and i cannot find the right spot to fix it so that when i turn on the car, the bass tube turns on automatically with the Sony system and when i turn it off, the bass tubes shuts aswell, or else it'll eat up my car battery.

Please suggest. I am happy to send you any pix for illustration and to get guidance on this one. Its a blue colored wire which is supposed to be connected on the back of the unit.
Thank you for help and looking forward for your suggestion.

Answer
What is the blue wire for? You must study the guide book for the tube (you didn't give the make/model so I cannot look it up for you - is it a Bazooka).

In any event, the owners manual for the Sony shows how to hook up all the wires and where they should be connected.  This unit has audio outputs on the back and a sub output on the back panel.  Choosing these outputs (probably the sub) is the audio feed to the input of a powered subwoofer.

There are two 12v lines going to the subwoofer. One is for main power, the other is for turning the sub ON. The turning on of the sub is done by connecting a switched 12v power line from the Sony unit.  When it is switched on it sends a turning on pulse to the sub.

If you are still confused, please send me more questions.  You must give me the model information on the sub-tube you are talking about.
