Audio Systems: New In-Dash, nissan maxima, dash radio

Hi, I have a 1997 Nissan Maxima with the Premium Bose sound system from the factory. I am looking to get a new in-dash radio, but according to people I try to buy from, I have to get just about everything re-wired because of the factory amp. I was wondering if there was any way I could get a new in-dash radio/CD Player etc without having to re-wire all the speakers like they say.

that is old news we did that in 96,97,98,99 after that we don't rewire Nissan with bose anymore there is a few companys that made interface  to do this job faster and keep the factory amplifiers with speakers

that shop is behind 8 years i will suggest finding a better shop or go back to them and teach them that now there is no technology
