Answer
Depends on what you want to accomplish.  So, you must design the system first, laying out what you want to eq to do and if you are interested in eq for record or playback or both.

What are you planning to do with the eq is the basic question.

Once you know that, then the design of your system is easy.

Just remember:  OUT means the signal is coming out of that box. IN means that a signal should go into that box.

So, in your case, if you are not recording, the OUTs of the receiver go into the INs on the eq and the OUTs of the eq got into the power amp.  IF you are using the receiver for both preamp and power amp you should look to see if the receiver has line out and amp in; but if not you must use the tape monitor system to pass signal through the eq.

You can figure this out knowing the basic information above.

Also, Yamaha and many others have hookup diagrams and wiring charts online; just go to their web sites and scoot around until you find them.  Try www.crutchfield.com also.

Hope this helps.

PS: Your wiring scheme would be a ton easier for you to figure out if you had separate pre and amp rather than receiver, by the way.
