Audio Systems: CD changer install, chevy silverado, chevy vehicles

I have a 6 disc CD changer out of a 1995 suburban and would like to install it in a 2003 Chevy Silverado crewcab with bench seats in front and back. Does the crewcab come with a pre-run wire and where would the changer mount ? Would it be better to purchase a aftermarket in dash 6 disc cd changer/receiver??

the 1995 cd chnager fits all gm chevy vehicles from 1995 to 2002
2003 use a new unit not the same also 2003 and up vehicles are not prewire the plug is behind the radio
