Audio Systems: car audio, electric antenna, two subs

Question
QUESTION: i have a '99 volkswagon that i put a new deck in. i wired it and it was fine and everything worked, including the two subs in the trunk. when i took it to futureshop to put an antenna adaptor in they changed my wiring and added the memory cable and hooked the power cables to acessory powers, so it was wired direct (i didnt have it like that before so there was no memory on the stereo and it reset when you shut the car off). after they wired it in the stereo plays fine for about a minute and then the bass cuts out and the speakers distort. they said it was a grounding problem but i took it back and they supposedly fixed it and it still does the same thing. could my deck have shorted? or is there a power problem. or is it something else?

ANSWER: if it work before there was no reason to change the wiring
the antenna is only a cilinder adaptor with a single wire that plugs in to the blue wire from the new radio
i believe they didn't know where to get power for the electric antenna  and change something in the wires for that reason also if there is distorsion
i will cut all the speaker wires and plug a small speaker at fron to test the radio and see if is working fine
also is very easy to damage the moonson amplifier if they wire it wrong
good luck

QUESTION: he just didn't like the way i wired it because it wasn't direct so he wired the memory in but to a different power output. there is no electric antenna the antenna adaptor was just so the wire would fit into the back of the stereo because it was a different cable. damaging the monsoon is most likely it then. is there some way i can check it?
ANSWER: yes it is posible amplifier is in the rear deck right side

and the antenna is electric  i own a 2000vr6 that antenna in the roof  or back window don't move but it is electric

the other way you can wire this is by connection only the speaker positive wire not all 8 wires
it is best to test the radio first or install the factory radio back in the car to test the amplifier

what are you doing with the original radio ?after you are done

QUESTION: i replaced my factory deck already though so thats why i needed the antenna adaptor because the hole in the back was a different size. i left the factory speakers in and they gave me the reasoning that my stereo was a 40w and the old one was a 12w deck so increasing the power is going to distort it, but that doesnt give an explaination for the loss of bass. or why it started doing it after they screwed with it. the antenna is stationary and there are no power windows so thats why i dont need the antenna wire. is the monsoon inside the factory deck?

Answer
understand this very clear this is the last time i will repet my self  THE ANTENNA IS ELECTRIC it needs power for the amplifier booster that comes in your vehicle i told you the antenna don't move this is the antenna in the roof or back window , i never said anything about your door windows or power windows

also the reason why there is no bass is becasue the speaker wire conections are wrong they are out of phase
most likely if you move the balance to the right side the bass will be louder go try it

also this is the antenaa adaptor you need
