Audio Systems: 2001 Dodge Caravan Infinity Cassette Sound System blinking lights, infinity system, dodge caravan

Question
QUESTION: We replaced the Caravan battery in early 2006 and the Infinity cassette system would not work after that. Dealer was no help. Went without radio for 7 mths, then bought a used Infinity system from dealer in 10/2006 and they installed. Recently when the air conditioner was being used the system would go out, then back on, clock reset time etc. It would do this at first when the air was on, then even when it wasn't. This went on for a few weeks and now its out again with the 3 lights for the graphic equalizer blinking fast and nothing else works. Am I screwed again? Any ideas on what to try or what could have caused it to go out both times? Any help would be greatly appreciated. We have bought Dodge for 25 years but this is it!!

ANSWER: the power supply is damage inside the radio i seen this problem happend at least 30 times in 1996 to 2001 dodge/chrysler radios
unplug the battery for 30 minutes if the 3 lights flash again the radio needs to be service

QUESTION: We did that after the first radio crapped out when the battery was changed...it didn't work. Will try it with the "used" radio. I'm suspicious that 2 radios have failed now in a little over a year. There is a recall because of something with the air conditioner dripping and causing a short in the back speakers and possible fire. do you think this could be causing the problems? We have not had the recall work done yet. The dealer that installed the used radio only guaranteed it for 30 days of course. Is there a way to check the wiring without tearing out the dash?
Appreciate your willingness to help!

Answer
there is a AC tube  that runs behind the radio sometimes there is condensation there and can go into the radio if there is a hole or is not plug correct ,to see this the radio needs to be remove

but this radio going  bad and the lights blinking happend when you change the battery
look at my history there is 5 people with the same problem in the last couple of months
