Audio Systems: 12 inch subs to stock stereo, chevy blazer, inch subs

ok first of all. i have a 2001 chevy blazer. it has a bose stereo in it. can i run my subwoofers off of my stock bose system or do i need an stereo? and if i have to get a new stereo will it be compatible with my 6 cd changer?

Answer
If the sub is selfpowered it is easy.  If the sub is NOT self powered it will be required for you to purchase a sub amplifier.

Then you must purchase a hi-lo converter box to take the signal off the speaker lines to give an input for the sub amp.

UNLESS:  If the sub amp has speaker level inputs you can bridge the speaker line inputs directly to the sub amp.

Nothing could be easier.
