Audio Systems: Connect audio turntable Sony PS-LX43P, rca connectors, rca jack

Question
I've an old Sony PS-Lx43P (serial 873221)which has two cables (one for the power and the other for audio). I want to connect it to an amplifier but the audio cable is not a RCA jack with white/red wire.It is a 3 black wire ending on 1 small black square plug connector.
Can you please help me to find a solution?
thanks in advance.

Answer
I venture to say that that Sony is 10 or more years old. Since you probably won't find a manual on it, you need to photograph the unit front an back so the writing on the back can be read. Also photograph the connector and I will try to help you. Most likely you will have to cut off the connector and solder or splice RCA connectors on. Then it will have to be plugged into a preamp with a phono (RIAA) input and grounded to the chassis of the preamp.
