Audio Systems: an unwanted sound in my system, interference problems, inch speakers

I just installed two ten inch speakers and a 320w amp in my 1997 accord and when I start my car up and turn on my radio, my speakers start to make a noise and starts to beat with no music playing. How can I solve my problem.

What do you mean by "beat"?  Maybe you mean what we call "motorboating" sound?  If so, that is usually because the ground wire of the amplifier is either not fastened down tight or it is in the wrong place.

If the sound from the amp goes up and down with the rpm of the engine it is totally different action and is caused by ignition interference getting into the amp.  

Crutchfield.com and other sites have all kinds of troubleshooting remedies and procedures on such kinds of interference problems.

If you can give me a more clear description of the problem I can give you a more precise direction on how to solve it.
