Audio Systems: car cd player spitting out cds, car cd player, car sound systems

Hi, I have a 2001 toyota 4 runner. The problem began quite a few weeks ago. I would notice a sound coming from the area where my antenna is, when i would turn on and off the car. The antenna would not retract all the way in after i turned the car off either. Then just today, i put in a cd and my cd player spit it out, and the noise around my car antenna got so loud and scratchy, I had to completely turn off the cd player so i would not have to hear it. Also, the radio does work, but i noticed that now the antenna does not go all the way up when the radio is on now. Can you suggest any advice for me? Thanks

I am not a car audio expert, but my best guess is that the motor that drives the antenna up and down might have a short circuit which could be effecting the electronics in the car especially the sound system. If I were you I would take the car to a shop that specializes in car sound systems.
