Audio Systems: Jensen cd2010x, jensen car, poor visibility

Hello I inherited an old Jensen car cd in dash player. I put it in my new car, because the stereo in there didn't work. Everything works on the Jensen system but the lettering on the display is so dim that I can not during the day, but I can see the lettering at night. I there any way I can program this system so that I can see the lettering on the display?

many of the Jensen units had poor visibility. if you hooked the dimmer wire up, you could unhook it. If there is no dimmer wire into the stereo, you are out of options. Perhaps sunglasses? sometimes they make it worse, sometimes they make it better...
