Audio Systems: adding an Ipod, lincoln town car, radio casette

I have a 1997 Lincoln town car with a standard JBL digital radio,casette, CD controller.  I do not have a CD player.  I want to add an ipod connection.  Will the JBL system take a standard RCR jack, or will I need other connections.

there is two lincoln jbl system, the normal system   the plug is behind the radio

the JBL with DSP  ( CHURCH,POP,CLASSIC ) MUSIC ADJUSTMENTS
the plug is in the trunk under the rear deck  ,right side of the spare tire
