Audio Systems: Sounds For 06 Avalanche, stock speakers, stealthboxes

QUESTION: I can't seem to find a good solution to mount subwoofers in my truck so I wanted to get some great sounding front, rear or overhead speakers.  Do you know of a set that has been made for the 06 Avalanche?  I do not even know what the factory system is.  Thank you for your help.
ANSWER: The Avalanche presents problems due to it's folding rear seat and removable rear cab. JL audio makes a new midgate sub enclosure, and are the only ones I've seen. JL stealthboxes are expensive, but well worth

Remember to upgrade all the stock speakers too because they are garbage. made of paper. really.

Upgrading the door speakers would be the first order of business, yes.
As for keeping your midgate stock, a sub box seat belted on the rear seat would be the only other solution, and pulling the fuse for the map when removing the sub to carry kids, boxes, etc.
